The red shroud does trick one into thinking its a "S" . Maybe it had some work done at one point in its life.

Oh, and and its a (US)73T motor

I think I saw your motor on Ebay...

"thats bad news" Why?

If it was a "S"motor the #'s would be *6330001-6339136*
"E" Motor *6230001-6239319*
"RS" 2.7L *6630001-6631551*

Did you buy this off Ebay or are you selling it? How much you asking?

As for what its worth.... Its hard to say when you dont know 100% what kind of shape the motor is in.

I have a 73 "E" motor that ran good when pulled but most guys consider them as Core motors to be striped and rebuilt. I had offers of $1500-1700
I decided to hang on to it for a future project.

As for the trans...Same deal, I have seen core trans sell here from $500- 1100 for a perfect running trans with new syncros.

Hope that help
