I found a screw near the door, not under dash. That's all I could find. When you say behind the dash, where exactly it is?

It's kind of hard to find the nuts, but there are about 3 or 4. I hope you are a contorshinoist,??? In the 911, I've never had such difficult times getting to things under the dash. Also, find the screw that holds the air vent on, its on the dash on the side. Take that off, pull the vent, and I think one of the nuts is under that. Cheers

Reach underneath the pad until you feel a metal lip behind it. Run your finger inside this metal lip from side to side until you feel a stud with a nut on it. That's what you want to unscrew. You may wish to look under the dash with a flashlight and a mirror to find them.

If you have the right kind of screwdriver to remove the glovebox without having to remove the glovebox door first, you can access the nuts easier.

Thanks.

I seem to remember there were only 2 nuts, one near the radio and the other over by the glove box.
Good luck -

An 8mm socket, extension and 1/4" ratchet is needed.

Just removed mine last week. Had to remove the side vent to access one screw. Found it easier if I pulled the radio out to get the second one. My radio is after-market so removal was quick and easy.
