912/911 brake caliper swap question
I have a '66 912 body with, I believe, the oem ATE brake caliper system on it. I have the FTE rebuild kits for the calipers but if the brake restoration fails I need options.
I have read in an old posted thread from 2005 that the caliper threads match up from a 911 to a 912. I have a '66 912 would the same years 911 caliper work? Does anyone know for sure which calpiers are directly compatible? Any pitfalls to watch out for this swap?
