The frame was done by Arizona Performance Offroad (520-749-3195) and its all 100% chromoly steel. Its thick gage is needed for the type of flying the car was built for. The car weights in at a dry weight of 1485 pounds.
The engine bracket in the back is steel to steel. Its 1/4 inch thick and made to keep that engine from moving around.

I will see if I can figure out how to upload more pictures. = )

Yes Kurt, same guy. = )

Its a 2.2 with 40 Webers on it. Its hard to say what it has in it without opening it up but the heads are ported and polished. The cams are not stock either. Other than that, its a mistery. = ) Its fairly fast. I am sure I am going to want a 3.2 here in the near future.

Wow, I'd love to hear a sound clip and/or see a video clip of it in action.

Eric,
Holy **** that is great!! I love it .
I have had quit a few Jeeps and did alot of crawling with them

I do wonder about the engine braket bolts too, if there is a failure it will be in the softer metal , in this case the engine block.

But it looks like you know what you are doing , I do think that there will be alot of stress on those to points.

Can't wait to see some action pics.

man have you guys been living in a cave???????????????????

his setup is STANDARD SCORE CLASS 1. go to SCOREINTERNATIONAL.com and get your fill of BAD ASS CLASS 1 cars w/porsche motors. or go to racedezert.com for more pics. the only thing he is missing is multiple mongo king coilovers all the way around. another example of how off road technology filters down to play(?) buggies.

please note pre filters on air filters. something i mentioned threads ago about k&n air filters. in the dez its mandatory. each pit they are removed and new ones installed. on our p-cars you can take g/friends wifes nylons and put over open air cleaner and avoid pesky air filter changes or cleaning for some time.
