Where is my temp sender?

Still waiting for my repair manuals to be delivered...gotta troubleshoot the dashboard temp guage.

Where is the temp sender located? I need to test that first before I replace the guage. Car is a stock '79 SC.

just to the right of the fan and slightly low on the chain cover. It is a small little bolt looking thing with an electrical lead.
