Pictures of my 911R-inspired car
I decided to post a few photos of my 911R-inspired early 911.
The car is far from finished but it made it to Classic Le Mans & back & I managed to shoot a few pictures today - apologies for the background... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Things still to do: 'Tweek' centre-fill cap so that the fin is perfectly at rightangles to the screen Swap the current high-compression 2.7RS-spec engine to my 2.8 twin-plug Fit my recently-found 911R exhaust Tidy up the metal dash & grp dashtop Fit & wire up the twin Bosch pull switches (for the CDI boxes) & dash-mounted horn push Lower suspension & set camber/caster/toe etc...

What a pile of XXX. Plus the steering wheel is on the wrong side.
I suggest you pack her up and ship her to ME. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.

Man you hardly missed a beat. Nice and clean. That thing will fly with your 2.8 twin plug in there. Exceptional!

What background. I couldn't take my eyes off the car to notice any. Nicely done Dr. P. would approve I'm sure.

Thanks for those pic's, you just basically showed me exactly what I was planning for my car, right down to the oil tank. Now there is NO way I am going to go ahead because I'll never get it that good looking.

Fantastic car !!! ,.......
...small point...may want to fit early headlights, like here--> what headlights are these? ..it looks like you have the "sharp top edge" late Bosch H4's..... As I said, a small point .... - Wil
