1974 Blower not working
Any ideas how to trouble shoot the blower not working?
Does the level next to the parking brake lever need to be up along with dash levers? Any aftermarket ideas? |

I think the blower should be on all the time. Only later cars had the blower switch on and off with the levers between the seats.
With the key on, do you get power to the connector that is near the blower? I think the fuse for the blower is one of the three fuses on the left rear of the engine compartment, under the black plastic cover that protects all the ignition/engine electrical stuff.

74 Porsche did not have a blower in the engine for the heating system. Some people with the blower in the engine compartment back date the system in order to delete the blower.

Blower
I do have a blower in the luggage compartment It has a four post plug. I have wiggled the blower fan level and it will turn on. It is very noise. Not much air movement.
What suggestions do you have to blow some air around while sitting at a stop light? |

The fresh air blower is easy to remove , you say it works sort of but is noisy , when you take out the whole thing check that the clips that hold the motor to the housing are still there " it think there are 4 of them" I had my motor repaired at a auto electric shop all it needed were brushes
