I liked this especially
"Exhaust gas temperature is most often measured at individual exhaust outlets near the engine, so explaining the requirement for eight probes in many race car applications. These give a guide to cylinder-to-cylinder mixture consistency and are most commonly used in drag racing."

"cylinder-to-cylinder mixture consistency" means a better running engine if low EGT deviation. The ECU tunes this.. nice.

That is pretty impressive stuff. Talk about fine tuning.

I just need to get my "old school" Motronic setup installed on my 3.2 and I'll be a happy camper. :)
