Front Signal Wiring Trouble - '80 911 SC
 

Can someone please tell me which wires go where? I've got 3 wires coming from the car:

1) Black & White
2) Red & Gray (has a white wire connected to the end of it)
3) Tan (also a has white wire connected to the end of it)

There are 2 posts ON THE CAR, just above where the wires are coming out from the car, and there are 2 posts ON THE BACK OF THE SIGNAL ASSEMBLY. Which wire goes to which post... and what's up with the white wires mentioned above?
