935 replica

Is this accurate? Is it a good kit? What might it be worth assuming its not a total rust bucket? I have (spare) a 3.0 turbo would it work well with a 70 t chassis?
potential track car. item #220019947042

Cant seem to get the link to work. Anyways this thing would need a full roll cage suspension and lots more. Just thought it would be good to buy for just the tub since it has no sun roof and it already has the body I lust for.

I'm with ZLP...many of us respect and admire the 935, but if you are truly going to try to build something like this for the street, or even the track, you have to do the body work right and put a killer motor in it. A tastefully done replica with a 500 HP motor would be a site to see, but anything other than that is really kind of embarassing and rather clown-ish in my opinion.

I guess if you get it cheap enough it is OK... I have a few original 935's but when I did build a replica it had 700 hp, serious suspension and other than the fact it did not have center lock wheels it looked the part .. nothing looks worse than a half assed attempt at a 935.

Hey, I like it. Always loved the over the top look of the real 935s. I particularly like the Kremer version with the air fences on the edge of the fenders. The street slant noses aren't bad but they don't really do it for me.

I think that the interior needs to go though. The stock interior just doesn't go with the pissed off exterior. A good shifter would really help with the no nonsense look.

Definitley would need to do the interior..mine did not look much like my 935's but I did flip the gear box and use a Fabcar shifter to look a little more the part

I just remade the origial shifter on my 935 M16..it was aluminum with a mag screw on shifter ball. It had some hairline cracks from all the years of abuse. It was also drilled for lightening..the new one is all aluminum and it is shocking how much lighter the original drilled one is with the mag shift ball

Driving that replica with the 2.4L motor would be like walking around with a cucumber stuffed in your speedo... in the back

Yeah, you'd definitely need to beef up that t-motor...
