Atlanta emissions question...

Has anyone with a 3.2 had any luck passing smog without their cat?

Thanks,

I have a friend with an inspection station, and my cat-less '87 wouldn't pass, even with a change back to the original chip and a fresh top end rebuild.

I am in the same boat, with registration running out at the end of August

Stupid question:

I have SSI's with no cat and a two in two out exhaust.

Is there a configuration that would allow me to continue using the SSI's I have - and add a Catylic converter and different exhaust?

Will ask the board, just thought you might know

Thanks!

Ahhh.. The old emissions test.

My 82 wouldn't pass so I had a shop here adjust the A/F mixture as well as take care of having it pass. (wink-wink)

This is the last year for mine. WHoooohoooooooo

I have SSI with no CAT or O2 sensor and 2in 2out M&K muffler.

Alex
ps. They do check for CAT but they can still pass it if all other test do well.

I have no cat. I take it to the shop that does the stuff I can't
DIY. They get it passed for me. I have a fabspeed premuffler so no cat.

no cat here

my 911 3.2 does not have a cat.

The muffler is a Flowmaster 1in, 2 out.

Passed the last 4 years.

Come on down to the south side of town, I don't think the shop I use knows I don't have a cat. I'm the only Porsche that comes in.
