if you have no lag you have no turbo.
I expect to break an AFM or two.

If you have a long pipe run, the best thing to do is to put the turbo "up close and personal" to the exhaust stream and have the long run to the intake. That is exactly what was done here.

That said, the newer designs - 996 turbos, Gt-@ etc. - have zero to very little lag -- it is not inevitable. when I drove a GT-2 it had no detectable lag - just monstrous, scary torque at seemingly every rpm.

all in today, and I can only say.. this is the best thing I've ever done to my car. Doing some logs tomorrow, right now I've got way too much fuel. Other than that everything's good.
it's more than good. It's flippin sweet.
more pics

OK, now how about some shots from the rear and on level ground, like you took a photo brom behind but kinda low. Looks like a well put together package.

There's no way that would pass CA smog. Unless, or course, it was in a 75 or earlier 911.

don't know that I'm obliged to talk about prices, but the FMU and chip were $480, the rest came from M&K, Ben. I don't know what his final price will be
