Intermitent Speedo and Elec Window fault

A couple of times now I have started the car and driven off to find:

1: The speedo is not going.

2: The windows will not work.

If I then stop the car and turn it off and re-start or just wiggle the key in the ignition it all works.

Any ideas? Loose wiring or dying ignition tumbler?

Everything else seems to work fine.

Sounds like an intermittent ignition switch ... you can change the switch portion without having to re-key and change the tumbler assembly. If you want to extend the time before complete switch failure, remove that black Porsche key from your HUGE keychain full of keys ... and put it on a ring with a lightweight plastic tab!

Thanks for that. My Porsche already has its own key chain, the only key on it!!
