Turnsignal/Electrical gremlin question

I am having an issue on my wife's 95' 993 that has me stumped. Here goes:

-if the lights are off both right and left turnsignal's work normal.
-If you turn the lights on then the following:
*Left turn signal does not work.
*The Left Arrow on the Tach(turnsignal light) stays on
*The Left rear turnsignal bulb is staying on but not flashing
*The Left Front turnsignal bulb is staying on but not flashing
*The small light (not the driving light) on the fog light stays
on.
*the right turnsignals work normal.

One more thing with the lights off if you turn the left signal on the small bult in the fog lights flashes with the signal.

Ideas/Suggestions?, the bulb's all seem ok but I can't figure this out.

sounds to me like a pinched or loose ground wire. Or check to make sure the bulbs in turn sockets are the proper ones. not all two element bulbs are the same.

Did this just start occuring? You haven't recently replaced any bulbs, have you?

Remember in the "old" days, if you replaced a bulb with the wrong one, sometimes flashers would be reeaaal slow, or way to fast, etc?

I had the front bumper replaced at a body shop last winter but this problem didn't start until about 4-5 weeks ago.

How would you track the issue?

well, to rule out a bulb or bulb socket as opposed to a ground somewhere, I would start methodically taking bulbs out and seeing if there is a change in behavior. Probably start with left turn signal bulb.

In any case, it appears to be limited to the left side of the car.
