loose wire connectors

I recently found a couple of unconnected wires in my 87 Carrera.
1) behind the instruments (oil gauge) on the dash, two loose plugs that seem to go nowhere
2) a white connector with a blue and blue/white cable under the carpet on the left side of the center console, right in front of the seat, it also does not seem to plug into anything

Are these free wires for accessories that my car does not have? Heated seat? or headlight washers?

Anybody have an idea?
