It looks good and there are a lot of postives being said about it. I'm going to pull the trigger.

Hay, that's my car :)
Tom, I can recommend the carpet. It is really good...

Not a great pic, installed on rainy overcast day. Thumbs up from me.

I bought it and love it. One of the best aftermarket ideas I have ever seen. Wish I had thought of it first!

I have this trunk kit in my car and I'm extremely pleased with it. It's a marine-grade type carpeting and it's very forgiving regarding dirt or stains.....very easy to clean or spot. The guy who fabs them up is Terry....goes by the username "Tog" on Pelicanparts. If you buy the kit, you'll be pleased with how well the details are thought out. And Terry is very quick in getting back to you concerning any installation questions that you may have.......nice guy to do business with.

yup, great carpet. I melted a little bit of mine when one of my amps caught fire, but it's not the carpet's fault.

Got the carpet in. It looks like a million bucks. Highly recommended.

I have it. Very nice product.

I've got this product too and I am very happy with it. Mine is the tan and since I have a '76 (pre-vaccum booster) the booster cover shown in the pictures above is there but doesn't actually cover anything. No hole in the top like these show. I also contacted the guy that makes these and had him put the Porsche crest NOT on the vacuum booster cover as it is on the Guards Red car above but centered in the middle of the "firewall" right behind where that car has the amplifier mounted. No pictures of it but I can take one and post it tonight when I get home if anyone wants to see the tan color or the different crest location.

khamul02 01-03-2007 12:59 PM

I would love to see that.

I bought this product after reviewing the posts on this board. I received it today and was very pleased with the quality. It took about 45 minutes to install (strut brace modifications) and looks fantastic. Includes everything you need to do the job and very detailed instructions.

kas930 03-12-2007 05:41 PM

I just received and installed mine last week...Excellent product. I highly recommend.

I have it and it is a great product. The rep is on here as well I can't remember if he is TOG or TOGX. Either way he is helpful and provides a quality product. Our host should carry it.

Kroggers,

Iwas looking at the pic of your trunk with the amp install.
It looks like you have a fuse next to the amp.

If so:
The Fuse on the power line is actually to protect the wire.
If you have a short and the wire wants to melt. AND IT WILL.
It blows the fuse really close to the battery and may melt a tiny bit of wire. Not the whole car.

If its not a fuse then great.
Just don't want to see anyone get hurt.
I have seem some bads things happen to people in my past car audio life.

I got this carpet kit recently. It's the best upgrade I've done to the car so far. It gives it that brand new look.

The seller, Togx, is great to deal with, especially in my case since he was able to supply me some missing parts for the installation.

I highly recommend the upgrade.

khamul02 11-06-2010 04:31 PM

Is togx still around making these carpet kits? I really would like to get one for my coupe but haven't seen them on Ebay in awhile.

Nine9six 11-06-2010 06:40 PM

Yep! Quality product, with very good install instructions

How can I reach Togx (on pelican or on eBay) for a set?
