help which Tonneau will fit?

I need a tonneau cover,....well or a boot cover,...for my '84 cab. There a couple on ebay currently, but suggest the same tonneau will fit '83 - '89,...but I seem to recall a difference once the electric top was added.

Does anyone know if a factory tonneau for an '89 would fit an earlier car?

THANKS!!
Rich

Rich -

There is a difference for a power versus non-power top, mine is an '88 with non -power. I tried a full tonneau cover and the power top version didn't fit, but the non-power one fits perfectly.

I bought an '87 911 and it came with the full tonneau cover. I tried to fit it on, but the studs, etc. are like an inch off here and there. it seems slightly small. I have a power top. Could my top be for a manual one? Was the power top one slightly larger?

Thanks,
Patrick
