"88911 "clutch

Mike,
did you ever change out the clutch on your 88? If so could you please explain what else you did while you were there , seals, flywheel, forks, machining, type of clutch,COST, etc...?
Thanks,
Willie
Anyones' comments here are certainly appreciated.

Hey Willie! I spoke to my mechanic and I think the problem may be all together different. I trust this guy more than anyone. He actually trained at the Porsche factory and use to work in CA doing euro conversion for US markets. Along with that is the guy comes to your house and works with you if you like, (I do). Back to the clutch. He said as long as I am not seeing the tach race when a load is being put on it that "burning smell" would not appear. I have noticed increased brake squeal. He thinks one of my calipers may be sticking heating up my rubber seals. The smell does seem to come from the wheel hubs. As always, I have never seen a problem with the performance. Thanks for the concern.
