930 lexan windshield install with 964 windshield gasket

Gang:

I purchased a Lexan windshield for my 930. Stock size.
Looks like it matches the stock windhshield in size very nicely.

However, I ordered a 964 gasket without the window trim.

This isn't going to work is it? I have the gasket around the glass, but the seal just doesn't look wide enough.

Do I need to order a stock 930 windshield seal?

Based on other posts I read, looks like that is what I need to do. I would return the Lexan and get a C2 windshield, however, I've already had tearoffs installed, and a tint banner installed on the lexan on the inside.

Thanks,

Brian

The 964 windshield is slightly bigger than the 930's thats why the gasket is not wide enough for your 930. You either need to buy a 964 sized shield or get a 930 stock gasket.

That's what I thought. It didn't look like it was going to work.

Thanks ZLP.

My best plan at this point is to get a stock 930 gasket, since I've got my windhshield prepped with the tearoffs and tint.

Thanks again,

Brian
