Re: !977 AC Question
Have the AC in my 1977 working great at blowing out 35 degree F air through those tiny ducts.
Years ago before I got my 911 I seem to remember an aftermarket duct kit to install additional ducts along the dash knee pad. Am I remembering correct. If so does anyone have a source. Would like to get more air volume to cool the interior. |
I don't know the source and cannot answer your question - sorry.
However I do have a few questions if you don't mind. 1. How did you get your A/C to work great? 2. Are you using the original hoses? |
Try Griffiths for the underdash vents, i heard you can get them for cheaper elsewhere
http://www.griffiths.com/porsche/ac/911ac/index.html Try Rennaire...they are having a sale ...i may just buy these items http://www.rennaire.com/index-2.html |
1977 AC
Still using R12. Pumped down the system for over an hour before
putting in freon. Do have an updated more efficient condenser. Hoses are original as far as I know. There are in great shape. Where in Michigan are you located?? |
