Source for a Reproduction Paint Code Tag
 

Anyone know where I can get a reproduction paint tag like in this photo?

I have a '69 911T and the parts catalog shows a paint tag with the part number of 901 701 111 05 like this photo:

But this is wrong! This second tag is way too small. The holes don't line up with the holes where the original paint id plate was mounted. I know my 911 was made in late '68 in the Karmann plant.

Anyone know where I can get one?

AFAIK, the Karmann tags are not being reproduced by anyone. There are two tags available from Stoddard, early and late, and I think the one on the left in this pic is the same size as yours, but not positive.

Tom, where did you get the plate on the left? That size plate fits my hole pattern. I can't find it at Stoddard. They do have have something similarly sized in the 356 section, but its not the same.

Anyone else have any ideas? Anyone in UK? Germany?

I got it from Stoddard only a few months ago. Look again for part # NLA-701-107-00, cost = $9.05
