AAR - Auxillary Air Regulator
AAV - Auxillary Air Valve
WUR - Warm Up Regulator (Also called Control Pressure Regulator)
CSV - Cold Start Valve
FD - Fuel Distributor
CIS - Continuous Injection System
CDI - Capacitance Discharge Ignition
You also have a deceleration valve, throttle switch, air flow sensor switch, frequency valve, acceleration enrichment control unit, Lambda Emission Control, and a pile more sensors on your engine.
Shocking, isn't it?

Get the Bentley SC Repair Manual, you'll love it.
It explains how these components function.

Find yourself a mentor on this forum. List your location. I'm sure a fellow Pelican can help you.

Let's not forget about the ICV (Idle control valve)

No ICV.
He has an SC with CIS, not a Carrera with DME. :)

Point taken.
I posted this because a few Carrera guys have chimed in with the same problem. I should have been more specific.
I'll be taking my 86 Carrera in for a CO check etc to Tuesday and will keep everyone posted.
Thanks
Rod
