Where to get Service?
Just need to know a recomended repair and service place in San Jose,Ca.
I just bought my 82 911SC Targa 2 weeks ago and I need to have the alignment checked out. |

First post? Welcome. Need pics. then send more.
I would start in the phonebook (the old fashioned way) then wait for people to chime in here. Go to German Autofest this weekend. Search for Ventura Show or German Autofest. You will not be dissapointeed. While you are at it, post some pics.... Welcome.

For alignment, go to Custom Alignment in Mt. View Phone # is 650-961-5311

Sweeper, great looking car you have there. My recommendation for general mechanical service would be Tom Amon of Mobile Works West, tel# 408 429 0545. He has a mobile operation and is very well respected on this forum. If you do a search on his name you can see many results from engine rebuilds to oil change services. He arrives at your home or place of work with an amazing set up, with all the correct tools for the job and years of experience on the 911.

MattKellett, you beat me to the punch.
Could not agree with you more about Tom Amon. Fantastic job and you'll learn something while watching him work!  Ask me how I know, well, he did my last tune-up and my p-car is still running\sounding awesome. Call him now. I will be working with him again to lower the car a little bit. Good luck! |
