rear view mirror - need something bigger
With all those SUVs out there in order for me to enjoy driving my 88 930 I can sure use abigger rear view mirror that can mount right where my stock one is & that has a day/night feature. Anyone know where I can get one of these babies? Does such a mirror exist?
Thanks in advance. Jim |
I got a clamp on wide angle one at autozone, and I like it. It allows me to go without the right side mirror.

Wink multipanel. I have a brand new 3-panel that I never even opened. It clips onto the stock mirror. I'm going to run a 5 panel as I need more coverage and a more secure install for the track. Shoot me an email if you want to buy the Wink 3 panel.

Gentlemen, do they have day/night feature - I don't want to be blinded at night!

Just be careful with those aftermarket mirrors. In HS, a friend had one of those RVM that went from one side to the other in his Mazda. When he rolled the car, and the glass in the mirror broke and cut his face.

Yikes!

Just what my friend told me and seeing his scars, I have no reason to doubt him. Make sense though. If the glass from the aftermarket mirror breaks into sizeable pieces and makes sharp jagged edges, then those pieces of glass can easily cut folks.
Anyway, this happened over 20 years ago. Just something I promised I would never put in any of my cars unless it was a safety type glass that could not cut a person in the event of an accident. Just my $0.015 worth. A vanity mirror in a 70's era 2 door rotory Mazda? |
which do you all prefer, wink or allview?
