Vasek Polak Ads in Excellence

My wife has me going through and culling old magazines. Right now I'm on the early middle 90's issues of Excellence. There are some great articles and ads. Ran across the old Vasak Polak ads where he was selling 908 magnesium wheels 13X14 for around $400. Advertizes as great for coffee tables! Did anyone get any of those?? Also lists some 917 rotors. What a hoot.

Yea -- I remember the ad...also remember they were offering factory posters for $150 ea. I immediately went out to the garage and dug mine out of the storage boxes. $400 for the wheels sure seemd like a reasonable price though. Wish I'd bought one.
