Fuel Injection Questions

While reinstalling the Fuel Injection I noticed 2 vacuum lines not hooked up. I looked in my Hanes and it showed nothing. What goes on these? Thanks Kerry

The one on the left is the drain for the CIS airbox, for the most part nothing goes there, I have seen a few with a drain hose that goes down and out the back. The one on the right is the cold start valve block, you should have a very large hose/metal line that goes to the AAR and AAV loop, I doubt the car will even start with that missing.

The silver looking metal line in this picture is the AAV/ARR/Decel loop.

Wellllll that is verrrrrrrrrry interesting. Mine has none of that stuff and it did start and run pretty well before I pulled it down to reseal some leaks. Looks like PO removed all the AAV stuff

Thanks
Kerry

I suppose it would be posible to block off the port at the CSV and run the system, you would however need to live in a very warm climate since you no longer have the AAR asist on startup.

Kerry,

On my '74 911 with CIS, the CSV plug is a "blank" and is not used at all.

Scott,

My '74 does not have an AAV or AAR. I have a WUR, CSV, all of the other "usual suspects" in the CIS, but my '74 does not have these two components and I don't believe they came with the '74 CIS but the CIS was modified every year and more and more components added/ modified.
