Help identify Fuchs wheels.
Hi!
Yesterday i bought 4Fuchs wheels that were advertised as "4Winter tires on Porsche 928 wheels". I just bought them because the price was good and now i am interested to know if they fit my 911Carrera -85. I have cleaned them and what i can read on them is 7J16, partnr: 911361020.44 I am also interested to know what ET they have! Regards Tommy |
I can't find a listing for that wheel
there should be a # ET** someplace on the wheel to use on a 911 spacers will be needed |
I cant find the ET any-were on the wheel.
What model was this wheel intended for if not a 911? Or do you mean that i need spacers only for the back wheels. Tommy |
as I said that part # isn't listed in any documentation that I have.
928 wheels had #s like this 928 361 *** ** or 928 362 *** ** later ones used 965 or 993 part #s as well. They all had high ET #s which means that to use them on a 911 spacers are needed. the 911361020.44 is close to some alloy 15" 911 wheels but again it's not listed in US or ROW docs. |
I found some information about the different part numbers on Fuchs wheels, but there are no information about ET.
My partnr. are listed as 911 wheels. size - weight (lbs) - wheel number 5.5x14 - ? - 911.361.016.10 4.5x15 - ? - 901.361.012.01 5.5x15 - ? - 901.361.012.04 6x15 - 12.5 - 901.361.012.06 / 911.361.020.10 6x15 - 11.6 - 901.361.012.03 7x15 - 12 - 911.361.020.41 7x15 - 12 - 901.361.012.05 (911R wheel) 8x15 - 14 - 911.361.020.42 / 911.361.020.12 9x15 - ? - 911.361.020.03 / 911.361.020.06 6x16 - 17 - 911.361.020.43 / 911.362.113.00 7x16 - 18 - (911) 122 911.362.115.00 / 911.361.020.44 7x16 - ? - (944) 112 951.362.115.00 8x16 - 19 - (911) 112 911.362.117.00 / 911.361.020.45 8x16 - ? - (944) 135 951.362.117.00 |
7x16 - 18 - (911) 122 911.362.115.00 / 911.361.020.44
that would be a 911 wheel(not a 928) ET is +23.3mm |
Thanks!
I have personally never seen a fuchs wheel on a 928. |
Check following link; this gives an overview of all wheels used for Porsches.
For sure 928 wheels will not fit on an 85 Carrera, it would require spacers to get the ET value right.... http://www.pocg.de/technik/911/s_Felgen_auf_911.htm |
