advice on cosmetics

hey guys
got my newly build engine back... and the returned it becase the finish was not up to par in my mind...not at all...

anyways...it is apparent that i have to make some of my own moves.. the engine has webber carbs, and electromotive ignition w/6 coils (twin plugged).

the parts i like and will keep on are the:
- valve covers, powder coated crackle black with silver porsche lettering.
- intake manifold, same as valve covers
-cam covers, same again
-and everything on the underside looks amazing.

problem areas
-fan shroud, for w/e reason engine building though mustard yellow would look could...and let everyone know it wasn't stock (aka green/red/blue), it cracked and generally fugly... i'm thinking bare fiberglass, though cf could work also

-carb air cleaner covers, right side one was sent to powder coaters still damaged, front dented pretty bad...ugly as sin IMO, powder coated silver, had planned on matching fan, but one the fan and fan hosuing was powder coated (silver and black respectively) they no longer fit together.

so a suitable carb cover, probably not stcok would be nice, any ideas?

possbile areas to relate to or change:
the fan, is a air flow optimized thingier, not stock ( have compared, this one allows for better/more airflow). however it is bare metal, looks okay, kinda goes with the webbers in a ruff finish sorta way..though i would rather something cleaner.

-bronzish fan hosuing tighener? scratched, doesn't really match anything in the engine bay.

and finally... i need the plactic cover for the side electical relays...anyone know where to source them?

i'd love to see some examples, and the cheaper the better, as this engine build went more then 2x over budget, i am also interested in changing the porsche reflector...maybe to something that looks good together with the engine bay open sorta thing (cf?)

thanks for your help
nick

search button will find you many engine pics

rain covers for carbs can be bought new from PMO - they are heavy

somebody used to make CF ones too
