Differential oil question...
Replaced the differential oil in my '91 C2 Turbo with Mobil 1 Synthetic and noticed that it makes a noise but only when i am reversing while turning,not all the time though..
I think the PO used the factory gear oil ( ? ) so may be it's time to make that switch again... Thanks Last edited by yasir; 09-14-2006 at 05:06 PM.. |

The Autozone Mobil 1 is not necessarily the best to use...try this...it is the factory fill. No additives required for LSD's.

Since you own a C2, doesn't the gearbox and differential share the same oil?
Did you use the 75W90 or 75W140 weight gear oil? |
