caliper pistons

where can I buy caliper pistrons for steel SC & Carrera calipers?

Pelican only sells rebuild kits that don't include pistons.

Pelican does sell stomski stainless pistons, but they are listed as only working on the alloy calipers?

If I could, I would like to know what my options are for replacement steel & stainless steel caliper pistons for the steel SC & Carrera calipers.
Thanks, Bob

Have you removed the pistons that are in there now? They usually can be be reused.

no I have not... just getting my ducks in a row as the calipers have been sitting for yrs and need a total rebuild.
So, I am guessing that the pistons will be pitted and wish to find out my cost options on replacement pistons.

Zims Auto sells excellent pistons.

However, the 911SC and 3.2 Carrera use different diameter pistons on the rear. I believe, but don't quote me on this, that the 3.2 uses 42 mm pistons.

Check them when you get them out, on the sealing surface, if they are bad there are a lot of cheap used Carrera calipers out there, I may even have a good used set very soon?

thanks everyone for your replies.

At the moment I am leaning twds rebuilt ATE calipers as not only all of the parts but TIME to disassemble the calipers, ship out to replate, ship back, all the shipping costs... to rebuild is significant... i.e. WAY more than buying already rebuilt calipers!
Thanks again,
Bob
