PMO Fuel Regulator connection help

I need some help with a PMO Fuel Regulator. The device was delivered without a tech sheet.
The outlets for the carb connections seem obvious.
I cannot determine which connections are for the fuel tank inlet and fuel tank return.
Neither the PMO site or in the PP archives have the answer.
Thanks,
Jim S.

It's been awhile, but I recall that the lower is the fuel inlet and the upper is the return line. Functionally, the regulator controls pressure at the return, so you can see how this makes sense. I'll double check my paperwork tonight after work.

Pelican doesn't list the regulator, but since they sell PMOs I'm sure they can get it for you. An aftermarket regulator (like a Holley) will work, but it's hard to find one that allows for a return line so you would need to block off the return.

you can get it direct from Richard Parr (Mr. PMO) -- IIRC, he has a web site.

2 choices - pretty billet one as shown for $80

or functional equivalent w reduced bling effect for $40

- maybe some price increase in last few years

it mounts to the body via the tab on the bottom using sheet metal screws.

BMW makes a good fuel line to use - IIRC, it is 8 mm

Pelican sells PMO parts. I made a small issue to pelican HQ yesterday that their PMO parts cat makes locating and defining PMO parts a bit difficult.. although i may not be as smart as i look.

PMO return reg is good stuff.

Aftermarket Mallory fuel return regs are real nice also. If you go Holley you should go with the higher end dual diaphragm that's acceptable to to exotic fuels as our gas station fuels have become a bit more dangerous when using the $20 Holley reg.

Actually.. i have two almost brand new $20 Holly dead head regs w/rebuild kits that i'll use for someting else.

I bought my fuel pressure regulator from Pierce Manifolds only because I was ordering other parts from them for the CIS-Weber conversion project late last fall. My fuel pressure regulator isn't as pretty as the PMO model and doesn't have the gauge on it. Works fine, though!
