decisions - decisions
i am faced with the decision to either fix every dent & paint the entire car for $1.5k-$2k out of pocket for a $6k glass out paint job or spend $2.5k to have both sides painted(just enough to get right rear & left front dg rprd/painted, inclds entire sides) & use the remaining $1.6k for exhaust/heat exchangers/chip(if feasible)
i'm currently leaning towards the concourse exterior a little background... - 1st i neglect to secure my parking brake(1st time ever) & my car rolls 20yds & hits a pole at the end of my driveway. rt/rear. insurance buys my argument that i deserve either the entire car clear coated or single stage to match. settlement after dedt & betterment, appx $4.1k - 2nd my wife backs into the lft front of my car 3 weeks later, i've yet to place a claim fearing my current company will drop me & i'll end up having to pay out of my a$$ w/geko or the like. that prelim est amt is appx $400.00 after dedt, betterment unk your opinions please

If you're not going to do it yourself, pay someone to do it.
If you pay $4K for a paint job without fixing all the little stuff, it might as well be a $500 paint job. JMHO. EDIT: I just reread your post and I can't tell what you're asking.

Get the car painted. That's a cheap and since your ins. co is covering a big part of it you should take advantage of it.
