Mike, first you need to get your photo a web address by posting to a website. I have been using photopoint.com. Once you have the address, cut and paste using your right mouse button and paste it to a reply post. You have to add immediately before and following the address. Go to my post on transporting tires today and check out the post by clicking on the edit icon to give you a more detailed description. Good luck

Nice Work Mike, You need to give yourself more computer credit. I would post a new picture of my car but I am still checking out digital cameras and the only photo's I have are boring driver's education pics. Soon though. I see both of you went for rims changes. Don't you know that the authentic preservationalist members are going to rain down on you? Joking aside, Your wheels look good. Mike, are those later model cup wheels? Original or reproductions? Roger, your landscaping like your car looks impecable. Later, Michael.

Michael, thanks for the compliments! My wheels were on the car when I purchased it, but I think they are reproductions with the proper offset for my car. They look perfectly original, though. I'll try to post another pic.

Micheal, I see by your plates that you are Canadian, well Quebecois anyways haha. Do you find that parts are hard to get down east? I ask because I am moving to New Brunswick in August from Alberta. There are not many PORSCHES there though. I have a 77 911 Targa. Will post apic soon too.
Let me know if parts post a problem or if you just order from the States. Shawn |

Mike, Nice Car!
I hope you email your picture to Mark (I think?) so he can put it on his web site along with the rest of us. I can't speak for the rest of the guys but I won't hold it against you that you're from the "fridgid Tundra" ![]() ------------------ Leland Pate ___79 SC Targa |

Thanks Leland, I guess that means you won't blow Canada up, right? Davis, parts are a little hard to come by here but I usually order from Pelican parts. So far i didn't need anything they don't carry (luckily). Besides, on the internet you can get some crazy deals. Good luck with your move!

Yeah, if anyone needs a place to host pics, just email them to me and I'll host them on my site. In the meantime...a frontal:

Mike - your car is sweet! I see why you don't want to put a turbo wing on it. The lines are very nice. How about an underhood Paxton supercharger?

Thanks Rarly! Actually, I inquired about the Paxton from Knoxville but it too requires a turbo wing. They also have a whipple charger that tucks under the stock wing but veeerry pricey. My plans for turbo-ing are not for the near future, maybe my ca will be turbo look by then.....too many ideas...not enough money...

Thank you Warren, the trip to L.A. was great, albeit short (2 days). The buddy whom I went with had to meet someone for the fabrication of a Stromung muffler (Honda) and we couldn't find the street he was on. We lost half a day on that. He was somewhere in Huntington beach. I then made him drive all the way back to our aeroport hotel room via Pacific Coast Highway 1, which took alot longer than I expected, but we couldn't find Vasek-polak. I think we were so frustrated by the long drive in the rented Malibu that by the time we got near Hermosa beach, we were too tired to see.
Oh well, at least I got to see alot of 911's on the street (many 356's too). Where i live you might see 5 911's a month. Thanks for asking! Mike |
