Electrical Problems

Hi Guys, as usual after some advice.

I have two electrical problems with my car which I would appreciate some assistance with. Firstly, I noticed yesterday that when I turn my headlights on (H4’s), the passenger side comes on immediately whilst the drivers side pauses for about 2 seconds before coming on. Switched them on and off several times and after six tries the problem disappeared. Tried again this morning and it did it again. Any thoughts on what this could be due to? Secondly, and most annoyingly, I found my batteries were flat again this morning (not enough juice to turn over the starter). This is the second time in 2 months this has happened, and both the alternator and batteries have been checked and cleared of faults. Any suggestions/thoughts would be most appreciated.

Regards,
