federalizing 930
Does anybody know about the epa required mods for an 85 930? I can handle the dot, but I am not sure what would need to be done to make the commercial registered importers job easier. I bought this car in pieces and I can see that it is going to take a lot of my time to make it cherry. I'd hate to spend all this time just to have to take it apart again and reuse the car as parts. I'm also negotiating on a 93 or 94 3.6 normal turbo which spun and wacked some big curbs real hard. Any body have an idea on the costs for the commercial importer certification? Also have an 89 928 S4 5 spd that might want to come back with me. I'm going to rebuild the engine this fall or fit a 5.4 GTS engine. Also have an 86 944 Turbo that goes like stink with low miles, but is rough that I think I can get $3500 to $4000 for locally, so it can stay in the middle east. This hobby kind of wags the dog, but it keeps me semi-sane. I would appreciate any specific answers as I reseaarched similar projects in the past, but practicallity just increased my US parts collection. Thanks
