Bent Carrrea tail rubber
Bought my 89 targa in January and it came with a carrera tail. However, the left side of the rubber piece bent upwards a bit and I was wondering if there were any ways to fix this?

Wash and rinse it first. Then you might try a heat gun slowly at first and bring the temp up as you slowly move it to the correct position, holding it in place with a 1x6x__or a 2x4x__ piece of wood, with weight on top of the wood to allow the tail to maintain the appropriate contour.ALLOW TO COOL WITH WOOD AND WEIGHT IN PLACE .Remove and repeat as necessary ,allowing for significant time for cooling.
