2 questions - ventilation/distributer
 

Thanks for "early_S_man's" help getting my rebuild running - everything is running fine now. But I have two questions, (1)When we did the repaint, we cleared the front boot of everything. Now I get heat no matter where I put the adjuster (I can either get it on my feet, or through the defrost). The valves in the rear, with the heat exchangers, work fine. I just need a step by step procedure for adjusting the heater/ventilation controls (we also replaced the control panel on the dash), and I'm sure that it's way out of adjustment. By the way, it's a '77 with a 3.2 ltr and Webers. (2) We have the stock distributer with the vacuum hooked up per a local (German) mechanic's recommendation. We can only get +25 degrees advance at 5000 rpm (I know it's too low). My stateside friends tell me to get the distributor rebuilt specifically for the Webers, but I don't know a source. Again, any help would be appreciated.
