Yes. I have to shift the edges of the bra around, and push very firmly, to get mine to close and lock.
One reminder, don't force the hood once it's gone as low as it can go -- try to use quick light pushes instead of a lot of force. You can put the equivalent of a door ding in your hood. Did you try to raise the latch a little? I had to raise mine about 1/4 in. almost to the stops. If you havn't tryed this yet you should remove the two plugs on the trim just on the inside right by the hood latch. Then use an allen wrench to release the two bolts. Raise the latch and thighten, then test it. I'm not so sure that the seal is good enough to the hood, I really don't want to test it but, then I don't drive it in the rain. Be careful on the adjustment and don't force it.
Good luck! ------------------ |

I just installed a Colgan bra on my 1976 911s and could not get the hood to close with the bra on. The package included a hex wrench which I used to raise the hood latching mechanism about 1/8 of an inch, the thickness of the bra material. After the adjustment, the hood closed. The latching mechanism has two bolts. The only drawback I see is that if the bra is removed, the hood will not fit as tight. Good luck with getting your hood to close.

Thanks guys. Went to a swapmeet and bought a new Colgan bra and the guy told me to do exactly what you suggested. I won't have the bra on unless I'm going to do a lot of highway miles.
