Engine & Black Coating in trunk.

First:
My car is a 70' 911 T. From all the work done previously by the PO and myself, the engine seems to be the original 2.2 liter with original Zenith carbs. Yet, I can't find any engine #, not below & right of the fan, nor anywhere else !!! I really looked everywhere and it doesn't even seem that someone scrubed off that number. Where could it be ? If the engine, for some reasons, was a 2.2 liter from a 914-6, could the number be somewhere else than on a 911 ?

Second:
I fixed some rusting in the bottom front pan and I was wondering if there is on the market a spraycan that would mimic the original black rubberized coating ?
Thanks to all.
Thierry
