Does anyone out there no who these guys are? They are offering a 71 2.2S engine for sale and I am in serious discussions with them about buying it, but before I proceed I want to get some feedback from someone (they don't have a website, etc.).
By the way Rich states that they are located at Infineon Raceway... Your comments would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Sam |

Sam,
How they given you the "VIN" number on the engine. If not, it might not exist or maybe stolen. Just thought I'd mention that. -Matt

I just posted a note elsewhere about this guy. Rich Krieger is a crook and you would be well-advised to stay away. He will sell you the 2.2S engine and inside it will have T pistons or cams, improper seals, everything. I just got ripped off big time by this guy on a car I commissioned him to rebuild. I figure I was ripped off to the tune of about $20 or $25k, if I compare what I paid with what I received. I am having to have the car completely redone again.

Interesting post there by jog911. I think I might know who that is under another name. If so, the story is true from what I know at this point. If not, then there's just too many people out there who don't know what they are doing or know what they're doing and just ripping people off.
