Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1969?
My horn has never worked and there is no wiring going to the steering wheel. I put power to the horn its self and it works. Is there a relay that goes in line somewhere. Any help with the wiring would be appricated. Thanks.

I scanned a few early wiring diagrams at high res (downloadable PDF). The link is on this page:

brimcc,
Follow the diagrams provided in the other posts. On a 69, I believe the relay is in the trunk, driver's side, just in back of the fuse boxes--should be a common round one, silver if original, black if replaced. There should be a wire from the relay to the steering column which grounds the circuit when the button is pushed. If there is no wire in your steering column, someone has removed it or it has been pushed down into the column. The diagram shows a connector from the relay to the steering horn button. See if you can trace the wire (I think it's brown/white) from the relay to the connector to the column. Maybe someone removed the wire at that point. If you locate the relay, you should be able to ground the wire leading to the steering wheel and cause the horn to sound. If it doesn't, your relay is probably bad. Put in a known good one and try again. If your circuit is working from the relay, it should be fairly simple to rewire into the steering column and horn button if, in fact, the original wire is missing.
