Restoration Design

Has anyone had any luck contacting Restoration Design? I have been calling them for 2 weeks leaving messages, and nothing. No response.
Wondering what the deal is.

Thanks,
Chris

This isn't surprising. Check the list...you'll see that Bill goes MIA for a while, then comes back. I've waited up to 6 weeks to hear back...

When I sent them an email several weeks ago about a part they called me right back and then sent me a catalog the next day, but I have never ordered anything from them yet.

People have had good and OK experinces with him.

When I bought $800 worth of panels for my 2 cars ( that was a big order for me).
When I was actualy able to speak to him/contact him , he was super nice.

But not being able to reach him many, many times even after sending Fax's is just a PITA. This guy should hire a secretary.

I dont buy my panels there anymore. Like I already mentioned...he is great to deal with if you can reach him, I am just not willing to deal with that.

Here is a older link on RD.

Good luck

Probably because your in Michigan and your within driving distance if you need to take care of a few problems.

I contacted him for some bits, and he called back promptly - seemed a real nice guy, but then as soon as I sent through my final order and cc details he went offline completely. I couldn't deal with that sort of uncertainty and had to ultimately take my business elsewhere after being messed around for a while!

Yeah, I just looked at my records and I have been calling for 3 weeks. I have sent 4 emails and placed 2 orders online. No response. So where else do you go for parts like this? Is there another good place?

Thanks,
Chris

Good stuff!

I ordered these rear flares from Bill and they arrived in the 3-4 weeks that he said they would. He's a small business owner, and that said, sometimes he must just be running around like a one armed paper hanger. The shop that I PT at has been buying from him for years and has always gotten along well with him. That might be because the guys here in town are small business owners too. Just my .02 !!

I need the front fender joining panel, front suspension pan, both sets of rocker panels (maybe the panel supports), and an all new floor mostly the pedal section.

Thanks,
chris

Ouch! I was at the time looking for a suspension pan and latch support panel, and couldn't get either from Pelican. Gave RD a try (I think they supply or supplied Pelican?) but no joy. Managed to get the pan from Mid America Motorworks in the end, though I have no idea if they would stock the other stuff you are looking for.
