Anti Am I Missing Something Photos
Ok ..... I also was sucked into.. Levi's lil' devil thread... So I like 911's you like Boxsters and my brother likes Mazda rx-8's. The common thread is the relationship that can be found between man, machine and nature. Not everybody "gets" it. The passion that lights up the pages of this forum. From recounts of track days, to mountain fun runs, to the first drive taken in your, new to you 911. Oh to bottle and sell it I would make a mint. Some of the threads put me in the passenger seat for the ride. I have never taken my Porsche on a track [YET], but have been pretty close with some of the vivid recounts from some of my fellow Pelican Brothers and sisters. Be Thankful for our blessing for the fact we can sit here and argue about 911's and boxters while some brothers and sisters have to decide who is going to take the bus to work and who is going to ride the ten speed bike. If you CANNOT APPRECIATE the BEAUTY of SIMPLE things how can you TAME such a BEAST like a finely tuned automobile be it a PORSCHE 911 or a formula 1 Ferrari. Yesterday I was reading the latest "Am I missing something" updates and REALIZED WE ARE MISSING EVERYTHING. So I went for a afternoon ride and took some pictures with a simple digital camera. Give me goose bumps down my arms and tears swelling in my eyes, make me a child again just for a moment so I may look at these pictures with the same wonderment of a five year old child!!!!!!!!!

It looks like pics that I've seen of the "Tail of the Dragon". It looks like one of the greatest roads ever made for a sports car.

It is in fact the Tail and I believe there is a planned Pelican trip coming up. Fun road for the driver. The passenger (wifey) needs Dramamine.

Great pics! I don't have any to speak of yet, but plan to soon. (I've only owned her since July). I only wish I was going to be in town for the Dragon Run! ARGH! BTW, my wife needs Dramamine travelling on the main roads, much less 'the tail'... My 6 yr. old daughter loves the twisties though - no wonder, as my wife was one week away from delivery of my daughter when we took a little 'road trip' into the mountains...

Great photos
Love the beauty of a flower first before you can appreciate the rain forest. Ok I have been a bit of a tree hugger kick, but hey right now I am smiling at the picture you took and yes there are some goose bumps
