930 rock guards

My refinish is getting rapped up on my 930 and I'll be needing to replace the vinyl rock/chip guards that go right in front of the rear tires on the flares. Has anyone got any tip's? Are these the type of vinyl you can wet with a soapy water solution to enable positioning, or is it a one shot deal to get them on straight without any wrinkles? Thanks, Tom

These strips can be put on by first spraying a water/soap mix on the fender. Also do that in a closed room with no air (or dust) circulation. Ask me why...
