Transmission Fluid (Gear Oil) 72 T
Hi Folks,
Im planning to change the trans fluid this weekend but nobody in my area carries Swepco. Im wondering if another more commonly available gear oil will work well in the stock trans on my 72 911T? Thanks in advance Maze |

Right now I am using 80W90 Catrol gear oil in my 73 "S" and have to say that it shifts awsome. I do not have a load of experince with other 915 gear boxes or swepco ( which people swear by for the 915) but I feel no need to rush out and buy swepco with hopes of it making it shift better since it shifts so darn awsome and this is with super loose bushings.
when it comes time to change the oil I will try swepco to see what all the hype is about. |

the best thing about swepco:
diagnosing engine leaks from tranny leaks by color of fluid on your floor...
