Carrera cruise control
My car's cruise didn't work since I bought it and i decided to check it out since I will be taking a long trip with the car. The large vacuum hose from the diaphram leads to the rear of the throttle body but is noe attached to anything. I can't seem to find where it should attach! If any of you guys have your lid open for one reason or another, think of me and check where the hose connects!
Thanks Mike |

Here is the text of a description I sent to someone recently. Let me know if you have further questions.
> There is a small hose and a larger hose attached to the thing that the > cable comes out of, and the very same is also true of the black botle > behind the oil tank. The small hose goes from one to the other. the small > hose fitting is right behind the large hose fitting on the cable thing. > > On the black bottle, both hose fittings are on the side furthest from the > oil tank. the black bottle has a thing facing the oil tank that looks like > a hose fitting but is not one. When you reach back there, you will feel > the largest hose fitting first, and the small one is behind and below it. > > Again, the small hose goes directly from one device to the other. The > larger hose comming from the black bottle goes along the lower edge of the > fire wall to the other side of the car, underneath the thing with the cable > sticking out of it, and goes through a hole (same as the gasoline hoses, > etc.) toward the front of the car. I did not see where it went after that. > These things are new to me, but I suspect it may go to the brake booster. > > The big hose connected to the cable thing goes down to the lip under the > firewall and to the center of that wall until it penetrates the fire wall > down toward the engine/tranny junction. I also did not look further there. ------------------ '83 SC |
