PS Autoart?

I'm sure many of you have seen their advertisements in Total 911: Nothing Else Matters (UK mag). Their website is quite limited, does anyone have experience with the company or have driven any of the models. The PS 300R looks really good. How bout pricing as well?

Any thoughts are welcome.

Thanks

Sammy

Hi Thinkfloyd14,

I know them, I bought my car from them about 3 1/2 years ago,
and it has proved to be a good buy.
They have a good reputation in the local Porsche circle here,
few of my friends have bought there cars as well, they also sell standard Porsches as well, not just the PS versions.
I saw there very early versions and thought they were more OK than brilliant, but I am sure they have raised their game since.

Picture of my car.

Looks like a great car. How are the prices, are they relatively reasonable, or would it be smarter to build your own (retro style/ new car feel) thru someone like TRE?

I think the cars are pricey, especially the 964 versions,

I am sure if you do the work yourself, and also you seem to have a lot more companies in the US selling body panels you could do the job for a reasonable price.
Especially if you keep the SC engine with just a bit of tuning. I guess its a case of how big is your wallet.
This is another good reputation company in the UK doing the same thing before PS Autoart started. www.autofarm.co.uk, look at Classic Re-creations section, there are some prices included.

The SC based PS 240 is about £40k, that $80k mucho $$$$ at current exchange rates.

Its good for us Europeans buying our Porsche stuff in the states tho.

There have been various articles in Uk magazines, try th Nov 2005 edition of 911 and porsche world

Wow, that is expensive. I surely didnt think it would be that much. It looks like quality work, don't really know if its worth it though.
