Curious, how easy or hard is it to remove and replace the Carrera oil tank?

It is very do able. Best to be prepaired to clean it and repaint the exterior. Since yours is a Turbo, it is easier than a NA Carrera

Thanks Jim. BTW, my car is actually a Carrera (aftermarket turbocharged).

It is a good idea to replace the funky plastic clear washers. Also, a good idea to replace the gasket for the oil level sender. The trick is to keep the dirt from going into the filler neck and oil filter hole when removing the tank. Duct tape works well here.
