oil sump screen cleaning

Curious if others remove their screens on each oil change or every other change or never.

The sump plate has a drain plug, so it's not necessary to remove the plate to change the oil, but is it recommended to remove the sump screen to clean/inspect at any prescribed interval?

The screen hasn't been out since my ownership 2.5 years, 2 oil changes, and 5K miles ago.

I allways do it, it only takes 10 minuts more

Thanks! Guess I will pull the plate on my next oil change. Is there anything to see specifically inside the motor?

Suppose I need a couple plate gaskets (2)? My car doesn't drip a drop of oil, hopefully it still won't when I'm done.
