Free 911 Tuning in Fortworth, TX (Haltom City) This Sat. 9/30

Well...sort of

I'm gonna be coming to Fort Worth Friday afternoon. I'm committed for Friday afternoon and Sat. night, but I can probably sneak away Sat. morning for a meet and greet.

If you have a sick CIS engine or 3.2 DME, I might be able to make it a little less sick. But it's gonna be limited to what I can do with my hands, ears and nose. I don't think I need to get all greasy dropping an engine before I go off to a wedding You can pay with pints of Guinness...or Starbucks. Think of it as an "Irish Tune-up." (pour a pint in Souk and let him tweak and drive your car!!!) If you have R-compound tires on the car, be sure to map out a test loop...LOL!

So! Anyone want to meet up for coffee Sat. AM?

Yes I'm in and so is my friend. I have an 87 and he has an ROW 84. Mine seems to run fine but his has a bit of a rough idle.

Free or at least relatively cheap tuning advice sounds great. Just say when and where.

Is there a coffee shop near where Haltom Rd , N. Beach St. or Denton Hwy and Loop 820 "intersect?"

We could meet there for coffee Sat. morning.

Looks like we have a location. It's still a little tentative since I'm not sure what will happen when I hit the ground at DFW, but Sat 9AM at the Starbucks at Loop 820 and White Settlement Road looks good.

If I'm not needed by the family for anything Sat. AM, maybe we can caravan over to Carrolton and pester the Ruf shop

Tom: Drop your car off, and I'll be happy to excercise it for ya Sorry you won't make it.

Geez Ed, you snuffing the 911 guys for the 928 guys! Sorry I won't get to meet ya.

Rick...Orlando is not in the cards for a few months, if at all in the next year. E-mail me if it's still the last thing we talked about.

Shoot, now I'm ashamed! Maybe I'll do the 928 for a quick while, and come over your way. I'll take the 911 to the 928 gathering, that would shake them up!

LOL...it would be great to meet you, Ed, but don't piss off the 928 guys...they might spill some radiator fluid

"onlycafe" I'm in NY (Syracuse and Albany area) next week, but it's gonna be 12+ hr days in the fiield with clients, so it'll be tough to break away for Porsche time. Maybe when I'm in Syracuse Tuesday for drinks, but I'm riding along with a client, so it's kinda iffy. Syracuse might be a ways for ya. I love up state NY, but it seems everytime I'm there it's all work and no play.
